About Me

Hello!

My name is Chloe and I'm currently 18 years old, studying for my A-levels in England. I go to a grammar school in Birmingham and I'm currently in my last year, completing my A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Chemistry. I love spending time with my family and friends doing anything from eating great food, to visiting new cities or simply engaging in a game of Scrabble. When I'm simply in my own company, I love listening to music, drawing, reading and blogging!

I have many hopes and aspirations - perhaps too many. I've just gone through the crazy, stressful process of applying to study Economics at university. Though this next year will no doubt be strewn with even more stress of exams, I'm determined to get to university in London. I aim to make the very best of my life and I want to be the best person that I can be, in all aspects. I want to make the most of my relationships with people and I want to make as permanent a mark on this earth as I possibly can.

I long to live in London at some point in my life. A friend of mine once said that his favourite thing about London is "how each little area of London is as fulfilling as a city is and there's another one whichever direction you go in from there". That is exactly what I love about that wonderful city and I really do hope that I make it there. Right now, I long for Autumn days with a latte in hand, wheeling a bike-with-wicker-basket by my side along cobblestone streets in Covent Garden.

I feel that, at eighteen years old, I'm on the precipice... of (just about) everything. And I will try my hardest to try and document this exciting journey through adolescence and adulthood. I owe it to the nostalgic sentimentalist in me because I know that if and when I live to be 70, I'll be kicking myself if I don't.

I started this blog way back in Summer 2009, purely through boredom and after having admired many blogs from afar, I finally took the plunge and started it up. This blog has sort of been my go-to in terms of feelings, thoughts, what I've gotten up to in my day-to-day life, et al. I never thought that people would actually read it, much less comment or follow my blog, but it has been really nice to have my little corner of the internet for the best part of four years! I can't quite believe it's been that long since I've had it and I'm definitely not the most regular when it comes to updating this blog, but it's been amazing getting to know people from all around the world!

Thank you in advance for visiting and I hope you enjoy reading!
